Bicolour Dragon Trees grow best in spaces with bright indirect light, where the sun is soft or diffused. They can adapt to medium light, though be careful to not overwater it, as the soil will take longer to dry with lesser light. FAQ

Bicolour Dragon Trees thrive in bright, indirect light but can adapt to medium light. Too much direct sunlight through glass, especially during the UAE summer, can scorch their narrow, colourful leaves, while too little light can cause the plant to lose its colour.

Best placement: Near a bright east-facing window or a few feet back from a south or west-facing window.
If light is too low: New leaves may be duller, and growth will be slower.
Water every 2–3 weeks, allowing the entire soil to dry out before watering again.

How to check: Stick your finger deep into the soil — if it’s still moist, wait a few more days.

During the peak summer months (June–September), growth will slow due to extreme heat, so reduce or pause fertilizing if your plant isn’t actively growing. Over-fertilizing can stress the plant and lead to leaf burn.
Not ideal — Dracaenas are sensitive to fluoride, which is present in UAE tap water alongside chloramine. Over time, this can cause leaf tip browning.
